For many, memorials are the visible link between their departed loved one and themselves. We offer a varied selection of Headstones suitable for cemeteries or churchyards.
At the time of making arrangements for a funeral, it is not always easy or necessary to determine what your future memorial requirements will be. A memorial is not just a marker erected over a grave to remind us of the name of the deceased, it is a lasting symbol of remembrance, a tribute to a life now ended and perhaps a final gift to someone dearly loved.
Choosing your Memorial or Headstone
If you would like us to help choose a suitable memorial for your loved one we can show you a range of stones and guide you with your choice. There are regulations governing the type of memorials that can be erected in a churchyard or cemetery. For example, in some areas you cannot have kerbing around the grave space, and in churchyards, granite, marble, ‘open books’, crosses and gilded letters are not usually permitted. The size of a memorial is generally governed by the appropriate burial authority and we can check all these regulations for you before you make your final choice.
Our skilled craftsmen are all members of the National Association of Memorial Masons (NAMM) which ensures they are experienced in designing and preparing memorials of the highest quality.
