As a family-run business, Ed, Ralph and the team at A.J. Sellman Funeral Directors believe that our duty to the community goes far beyond arranging a funeral service. Our core mission is to support the bereaved step by step, guiding you through one of life’s most difficult journeys with compassion, dignity, and personalised care.
Grief does not have a timeline, and finding comfort alongside others who share your experiences can be incredibly healing. That is why we are highlighting a special community event coming up soon. St Mark’s Church in Great Wyrley is organising a Rosemary Service on Sunday, 15th November at 4:00 PM.
This beautiful service is designed to remember those we love but no longer see. Through a gentle blend of music, poetry, and prayer, it offers a dedicated space for reflection and remembrance. If you are navigating a loss, we warmly encourage you to attend if you feel it will help you find comfort and peace with your grief.
Please remember that you never have to walk this difficult path alone. In addition to guiding you through immediate funeral steps, we are deeply committed to helping you beyond the funeral. To provide the best possible support, we offer dedicated bereavement counselling working with world-renowned grief counsellor, Dr. Bill Webster. Through these specialised videos and grief support materials, we aim to help you understand your feelings and move forward at your own pace.
