Our family believes that we should offer you support beyond the funeral of your loved one. We try to do this through Bereavement Counselling and our Book of Remembrance.

Bereavement Counselling

After the funeral of your loved one, we would like to invite you and your family to a bereavement Group, which will be held at our new Bereavement Suite at the main office, 70 Church Street, Cannock. The meetings will be held on first Saturday of every month, between 9.30a.m. and 11.30a.m.

The aim of the group will be to offer ongoing support and enable you to meet others who have lost a loved one, so that there may be a mutual benefit from sharing thoughts and feelings during these difficult times.

We have a fully qualified Bereavement and Aftercare Support Officer, who will be in attendance and will speak to the group for a short while, addressing the various problems and issues that may arise and concern you in connection with your bereavement. If you would prefer one to one counselling please call us at our Cannock office. Information will be provided on accessing further support and guidance, and light refreshments will be served.

We do hope that you will consider joining us at a very informal and relaxed morning. The meeting will be held each month, on the first Saturday from 9.30 a.m. until 11.30. We believe that not only will this be beneficial to you, but will also help others who may be feeling alone and vulnerable at this most sensitive time in their lives.

Book of Remembrance

On the date that your loved one passed away their name will be put in our book of remembrance which is located in the entrance area of our Cannock office. The pages are turned in accordance with the date and you are welcome to bring flowers. Plenty of vases are provided and upon request we fill them with water for you.

During the month of December, next to our book of remembrance we have a Christmas tree and invite people to write and place festive messages to their loved ones on the tree.
