A Funeral Plan is Protected From Rising Costs

The cost of a typical funeral has almost doubled in the last decade and is likely to continue to rise at a similar rate.

Back in 1997, an average funeral cost just £1,230. However, by 2001, this had increased to £1,688. In 2008, the average cost of a funeral was £2,549. These increases are above the general level of inflation and costs are continuing to rise for a number of reasons, including the need for crematoria to invest in facilities that satisfy European legislation, and the lack of reasonably priced land for cemeteries.

Why we Choose Golden Charter Funeral Plans?

The plans we offer are through Golden Charter Trust who we have been dealing with for over 10 years. A separate trust fund will manage your money on behalf of us and Golden Charter pledge whatever happens in the future the fund will continue until every plan has been carried out and payment made to every selected funeral director.

Golden Charter was set up by two funeral directors seeing the need for pre-paid funeral plans and having an inside knowledge of the industry. They are now the U.K number one seller of pre-paid plans, working mainly with Independent Funeral Directors, being recommended by SAIF (National Society and Allied Independent Funeral Directors).
