Sixth Generation Family Business
A funeral plan provides peace of mind for you and your loved ones. You choose the funeral you want and pay for tomorrow's funeral at today's prices.
Funeral costs are going up every year. The average cost of a funeral in 2004 was £1,920. In 2016 the cost was £3,897, an increase of 103%. At this rate the cost of a funeral in ten years could exceed £7000.
With a funeral plan you can fix the cost of our services at this year's prices. So no mater how costs change in the future, your family will have nothing more to pay for the services in your plan - guaranteed.
When you plan your funeral we promise that:
As funeral directors we offer a bespoke funeral plan. This enables us to tailor our plans in accordance with someone’s individual wishes. We guarantee there will be nothing more to pay for our services, no matter how much prices rise in the future. It’s a sensible and thoughtful way to make life easier for your family when the time comes - relieving them of additional emotional burden
The plans we offer are through Golden Charter Trust who we have been dealing with for over 10 years. A separate trust fund will manage your money on behalf of us and Golden Charter pledge whatever happens in the future the fund will continue until every plan has been carried out and payment made to every selected funeral director.
Golden Charter was set up by two funeral directors seeing the need for pre-paid funeral plans and having an inside knowledge of the industry. They are now the U.K number one provider of pre-paid plans, working mainly with Independent Funeral Directors, being recommended by SAIF (National Society and Allied Independent Funeral Directors).
